Hi All,

I want to filter my signal with low pass filter. ( Window method). I calculated the coefficient of the filter. ( b ) I want to know the theoretical behind the filter function of matlab that gets the filter coefficient and the input signal.

I would really appreciate your help.

Cheers,
Khatereh

Google for "FIR filter", "Digital signal processing".

Dear khatereh,

You can find an M-version of FILTER here:
  http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/311306
A faster C-Mex, which even beats Matlab's FILTER:

 Kind regards, Jan
