Converting GAUSS (Aptech Systems Software) to MATLAB code

I teach a course in econometrics and want to move from the GAUSS software system (published by Aptech Systems, inc.) to MATLAB. This is a graduate course so I have all my students write their own code for the various estimation exercises. I have alot of code and hate to start from scratch. Doing a Google search of the above comes up with a link to a URL supposedly to some PERL code that would do such a conversion. Unfortunately the URLs all end in a dead end. Does anyone know of any utility(s) that accomplish such a conversion?
