Hi All,

Can the image acquisition toolbox talk to a scanner? Right now I run a VB executable to scan an image. I want to simplify my code and keep everything in matlab. Areany of you aware of a way to do this. The scanner is an HP G3110.

Nate

I saw this. I don't think it is correct.

I think there must be a way to load the java library and then access the objects. Just like you do with so many of the new routines.

Here are a few resources for using TWAIN in Java:

(plus plenty others that you can easily find online)

Once you have it in Java, working with it in Matlab is immediate.

Hi all,

after two years, did anybody experimented with this? And get it to work?
If so. Please could you provide me some info or example code to do it as well?

Many many thanks.

Kind regards,

Kees
