Hi,

Can someone please advice what could be the reason Matlab is crashing near the end of the simulation (i.e. it had done 800 timesteps out of the 1200 before crashing)? I'm running a pretty long monte-carlo simulation on an 8 processor server. I don't think there is anything wrong with my code, albeit I've several 'for' and 'if' statements. Could it be the memory?I've set the figure's gcf to be invisible, and saved the figures (as .tiff) only at some timesteps.

Does anybody have any thoughts on this? I am having a similar issue running my pretty long genetic algorithm (global optimization toolbox). My user supplied code runs fine on its own and I don't have any figures. Any ideas?
