Hello,

I was just wondering if someone might be able to help me figure out how to determine the depth of contour lines. I am plotting contourf(time, depth, temp) and am trying to determine the depth (or at least find maximum depth) of the 0 degree contour line. I am looking into C (from [C,h]=contourf(z,y,z) but it's a bit of a mess...still trying to figure out how to pull what I need from this matrix. Any nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Did you read the help for contourc?
Seems pretty straightforward to me.
I don't know why you say it is a mess.
But you could always use this from the File Exchange:
