Hi Guys

I am trying to correct image for optical distortions. I have a image (http://s13.postimage.org/rjsfxoc93/Calib_002.png). I would like to measure the length & width of the small square grids in the image. The grid is made out of plexiglass and has 1/8" square. This is what i have so far:

 I = imread('Calib_002.bmp');
I1 = I(:,:,1);
I2 = edge(I1, 'sobel'); % This finds the edges

Now, i would like to measure the length of the edges. How should i go about it?

Thanks a lot to everyone!!. This forum is really helpful..learning a lot

Regards
Prakhar
