Thread Subject:
foldback(foldover, overlap) control in forward mapping

Subject: foldback(foldover, overlap) control in forward mapping

Hi all:

I've implemented the Moving Least Squares algorithm for image deformation using forward mapping. The result is accurate but it suffers from fold-backs (overlap). This happens when the mapping is not one to one and multiple pixels in the input image maps to the same pixel in the output image. Does any one know how to overcome this problem?

Thank you,

Joe
