Hi there,
I have tried to use imrotate function and the object in the image shrinked as the rotation angle increases.
code..
in_image = imread('xyz.jpg');
rot_image = imrotate(in_image,30,'crop');

The object in the rot_image is not of same size as that of in_image, though the image is of same size..
The image contains of an ellipse(the only object in the image) which is all white except for eyes,nose and mouth and the image background being black.
 I would be more than happy to hear from someone.

Shouldn't happen, I don't think. It won't be possible to investigate, though, without an example we can reproduce.
