Simbio conditional growth

I am using the simbio tool box to create a bacterial growth model.
I would like my cells to grow if sugar is present and die if sugar is not present. I think the easiest way to do this is with a conditional statement but I have not found a way to do that yet.
Any ideas or workarounds?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Stephanie,

The usual way to implement conditional logic in SimBiology is by using events. You can read more about events here:
