When I plug in my rsults as intial value in fmincon, it generates firstorderopt: [] in output. What does it mean?

Sorry, I do not understand your question. Are you talking about the
output structure? Can you please provide a more detailed explanation of
what you are doing so I have a chance of reproducing your result, or at
least understanding your question?
