Subject: Catch Linux SIGTERM or SIGKILL

Is there anyway for a running MATLAB script to catch SIGTERM or SIGKILL and respond gracefully? I'm running some simulations that can take days to weeks, so I want to be able to save the variables to disk in the event of a power failure or other unexpected interruption.
