Ubuntu 12.04 is officially supported Linux OS (see http://www.mathworks.com/support/sysreq/current_release/linux.html), but there are terrible problems with web browser integration. Firefox does not work at all and Google-Chrome only open "Aw, Snap!" window.
commands like:
web http://www.mathworks.com -browser
system('firefox'), ...
does not work.

Same situation is with web brouser links at help, or with buttoms like
"Community" "Support Web site" (under HELP), etc.

How to configure web browser to work with current MATLAB release on supported Linux OS (Ubuntu 12.04)?
