PN sequence from ASCII

I need to generate a PN sequence from the binary ASCII of a string

Where I'll get the binary ASCII of the word "Engineer" then give it as a seed to generate the PN sequence of length 1024

Is this possible?

I'd like to help, but I don't understand:
1. PN sequence - what is PN?
2. "binary ASCII" - to me this is an oxymoron

probably "pseudo-random noise".

my bet: the OP needs to spend more time thinking about a homework assignment.

Thank you everyone

I know the idea that students who need to solve their assignment usually put questions here ... But I'm not solving an assignment.

I asked if this is possible?

all what I need is; to generate a watermark sequence with secret key I found through googling that someone was saying to convert string into its ASCII and generate random sequence, but that doesnt generate the same sequence every-time ...

I'm just searching how to make a watermark sequence with secret Key and fixed length where I can regenerate every-time & usually what is used is a pseudo-random noise in this case but I don't know how to make it.

so if anyone can help or suggest something, or explain to me what I seem don't understand, I'll appreciate his help

Some items to bear in mind:

1. Nature: This is a usenet newsgroup, as such, questions that are posed here are necessarily subject to the whim
of those who choose to, first, 'read', next, 'respond'; subject to how the question is interpreted; subject to the
knowledge of the responder(s).

2. Intent: If you pose your request poorly -- e.g., "Subject: Please Help" (not specific); "Subject: I WANT..." (may not
care what you want) -- you should expect to get a response that is 'in-kind'.

3. Expectation: Broadly, people who participate here aren't interested in teaching. In general, they want to see what
you have attempted to do, what actually happened, then offer comment.

4. Focus: If the scope of your request is overly broad -- e.g.,"I want to understand Matlab..." -- it may get ignored.

Help -> randn, randi, rand, rnd

If your copy of Matlab is licensed and registered, you likely have access to TMW tech support and they likely can
explain the nature of their canned random number routine better than I can do. In a grossly over-simplified/
foreshortened view, a pseudo-random number generator needs a starting point, or "seed". Change the seed, and the
PRN routine will return a different number or number sequence. As you would expect, there is a wildly large number
of ways that one can generate a such a "seed".

Google: pseudo random number generator

...which, in turn, raises the question of how you will know what to "appreciate" before you receive it.
