 need to generate a PN sequence from the binary ASCII of a string

Where I'll get the binary ASCII of the word "Engineer" then give it as a seed to generate the PN sequence of length 1024

Is this possible?

Not what I wrote, is it? There are many ways to "do things" with Matlab. Not all of those are necessarily or
inherently sensible.

Start here:
Help -> str2num
Help -> rand, randn, randi, rnd

In particular, focus your attention on 'seed'.
