bvp4/5c can 'solve' two-point boundary value problems with unknown parameters, and they can solve multi-point (> 2) boundary value problems with no unknown parameters. Can they solve multi-point boundary value problems with unknown parameters ? If so, is the argument order for odefun (x, y, k, param) or (x, y, param, k) ? I assume that the order for the boundary condition (residual function) is the same.

A bvp with unknown parameters can be transformed to a bvp with no unknown parameters by augmenting dependent variables with trivial r.h.s. This would seem to be less efficient if the mixed functionality is available.
