corner detection

hi,
i m at present doing a final year project. its already late by now, as i wasted time in implementing a method using slope to determine the corners. but that proved to disadvantageous. i am using a 2008 version of matlab. plz if anyone help me out in determining the corners. i m trying with an algorithm called trajkovic operator. plz suggest if anyone have a simpler methos.
