I used 'ie = actxserver('internetexplorer.application');' in my codes. But after running for several times, there were a lot of 'iexplore.exe' in the task manager which could not be killed. My PC became slower and slower.......

Past this code before quit your application. This will close the 'ie' instance...

ie.invoke('quit');
