Somebody's managed to bypass the spam filters on the TMW newsgroup
viewer. I flagged one, but it looks like no way except one-at-a-time
for users so given the time that was going to take I didn't mess w/ any
more.

Can/would/will somebody at TMW take care of it?

What would it take to give users a filter capability there (I know,
you'se guys want to get people off usenet, but that interface is just
_SO_ klunky/overhead-intensive)?

Try emailing files@mathworks..., they're probably more likely to catch a direct email than a single NG post.

Steven and some others monitor cs-sm altho not religiously on weekends.

But, whether it was manual or the 'bot kicked in on its own; seems taken
care of.
