Hi, I'm trying to extract high spatial frequency from an image.

I think I successfully extracted high sf, but the image is in black& white like X-ray result.

How can I change the image colour so that the background colour is in gray and the line itself is in black.

I tried changing the contrast, and used mat2gray but they did nothing to the image.

the image is already in grayscale.

Can anyone give me ideas?

Thank you.
