Hello there. I've a set of physically measured data of an workpiece's specific feature known to be an "epicycloid" curve. The parametric form of epicycloid curve is:

 x = (a+b)*cos(t)-b*cos([(a+b)/b]*t)
y = (a+b)*sin(t)-b*sin([(a+b)/b]*t)

I checked it up in cftool dialogues and could't find any way to define a custom fitting equation in parametric form.
