ill conditioned matrix

Ill condition in a matrix occurs when it is badly scaled or if the
matrix is singular.
How to overcome ill conditioned matrix?
Will increasing rows and columns make the matrix a good conditioned
one?
What can be a threshold to cond?

Hi Suja,
I don't think, that there is a general answer to your question. First of
all:
- where does you matrix come from? There are numerous examples, where
you can improve the results by changing the problem (e.g. polynomial
interpolation,
where you can improve the results by shifting your data around the
origin).
- how do you "increase" the numbers of rows and columns? just adding
something
  doesn't make things better

Please describe in more detail what you are trying to do...
