The Instrument Control Toolbox lets you work with VXIplug&play, IVI, and MATLAB instrument drivers. VXIplug&play and IVI instrument drivers often ship with your instrument and are also available from the instrument manufacturer�s web sites. To work with VXIplug&play and IVI instrument drivers, a MATLAB instrument driver wrapper is required. You can also create MATLAB instrument drivers using graphical development tools in the Instrument Control Toolbox.

Preconfigured wrappers and standalone MATLAB instrument drivers can also be downloaded from the MATLAB Central File Exchange. To search for a MATLAB instrument driver, select from the parameters below.

This search creates a listing of all the drivers in the Instrument Drivers category on the MATLAB Central File Exchange that meet your criteria. Some of these drivers were written by The MathWorks and others were contributed by our users.

If you cannot locate the necessary instrument driver on the MATLAB Central File Exchange or from your instrument manufacturer, please fill out and submit the Instrument Driver Request Form.
