Altia Design is simulation graphics software that, without the need for graphics programming, helps engineers quickly build a real-time, interactive control, and visualization graphical user interface (GUI) for their Simulink, Stateflow, and dSPACE models. This GUI, which looks and behaves like the product's real user interface, makes model design, debugging, and testing significantly more accurate and efficient. Altia graphics can be used by the entire development team by connecting to common tools utilized by industrial design, control, electrical, systems and software engineering. By connecting all tools to a common GUI model, precise expression of system behavior and clear communication between the different departments involved in design of the embedded system is possible. Customers and managers who need to make critical development and product decisions can easily operate and understand the simulation, providing valuable feedback early in product specification and design. The GUI can be distributed, viewed, and run on a Web browser, helping engineers in different locations collaborate efficiently.
