CANape, part of Vector's complete Measurement, Calibration, and Diagnostic solution, is designed for fine-tuning electronic ECU's on the desktop, test bench, or in vehicle.
CANape supports a wide range of physical ECU connections, such as K-Line, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, USB, Ethernet, and SPI/SCI based on the ASAM calibration protocols CCP and XCP. It also includes fully integrated external measurement devices for analog measurement, video-, audio- and GPS-recording.
CANape offers features such as an integrated ASAP2 editor; various display windows for signal-oriented visualizing, analyzing, and calibration of ECU parameters, curves and maps, synchronized with bus messages, video-, audio- and I/O signals, as well as user-definable panels; scripts to automate frequently performed tasks; calibration data management for saving, comparing, and merging of parameter sets; diagnostic functionality; and data flashing. A comfortable automation interface to MATLAB enables the remote control of CANape. The MATLAB integration is perfectly suitable for an automatic calibration application.
