Description
AutoFMEATM is a powerful add-on to Simulink that facilitates safety analysis within the same environment used for design engineering.
AutoFMEA is used to undertake safety, reliability, and functional analysis of systems modeled in Simulink and may be applied to any system that can be modeled in Simulink. Engineers focus on the analysis rather than completing forms.
Through a series of relatively simple steps, an FMEA is generated that highlights hazards that may occur given certain scenarios and faults. A significant feature of the tool is the ability to assess the impact of multiple faults occurring simultaneously.
