Description

The AD7011-EVA is a Linux computer with a diversified array of inputs and outputs, including analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC), which are necessary for measurement and control. Users can make control programs using MATLAB and Simulink and create user interfaces and console screens using drag-and-drop with A&D's AD-VirtualConsole (free bundled software). After this series of operations on a Windows PC, the work is then transferred to the AD7011-EVA. The AD7011-EVA includes Simulink S-function programs (driver software) for all equipped input-output interfaces on the target hardware. This allows users to easily include and configure I/O drivers as Simulink blocks within their models. The AD7011-EVA can perform device testing and control as a target machine for MATLAB and Simulink. The AD7011-EVA is equipped with an i.MX31 with an ARM1136 core processor and has the Linux OS with a real-time extension (Xenomai).
