Description

axisuite is modular software for the simulation of exhaust aftertreatment devices and systems. axisuite uses as input the exhaust gas composition, flow rate and temperature, and the properties of the exhaust devices, and models heat transfer, mass transfer, and pollutant abatement (filtration and chemical reactions). axisuite consists of the following simulation modules, which can be licensed independently or as a package: 

  • axitrap for wall-flow particulate filters
  • axicat for flow-through catalytic converters with any kind of catalytic coating
  • axifoam for foam-based or fiber-based filters and catalysts, with any type of catalytic coating
  • axiheat for connecting pipes

The solvers of axisuite (written in Fortran) are optionally provided as Simulink® S-functions. axisuite enables one-click export of a Simulink model of the exhaust line. Through the Simulink platform, axisuite can be coupled with other commercial software that employs the Simulink platform (mainly engine models).
