Description

add2 supplies flexible, integrated turnkey systems for the following purposes:

• Hardware-in-the-loop simulation testing (HILST) of electronic control units (ECUs)
• Rapid control prototyping (RCP) of embedded software for ECU targets
• General purpose test-and-measurement systems for laboratory or production line use

The hardware for these test and RCP systems is a combination of add2's products and proprietary equipment selected as appropriate. Typically, a HILST workstation consists of an industry-standard PC and I/O cards with the add2 Genix system providing the signal conditioning and interface to the outside world. Although the same arrangement can also be used for RCP, add2's MicroGen product provides a more compact alternative, especially for mobile applications.

All of the above systems rely on Simulink and related MathWorks tools for the software element for HILST applications. A turnkey system may include the basic Simulink application models to enable a new user to quickly exploit their investment. add2 provides engineering, implementation, and ongoing support for all systems. add2 also offers engineering services for general modeling and electronics and software design (e.g., for products to utilize auto-generated code).
