Description

Logikos helps customers design, develop and test embedded, desktop and mobile software applications. Logikos engineers have experience with simulation and modeling tools for software design, code generation technology for implementing algorithms, and verification and validation techniques for improving software quality. Many customers have relied on Logikos to provide independent testing of their Class II medical devices that must comply with the regulations of the FDA CDRH (e.g., 21CFR Part 820).

Logikos works throughout the software development lifecycle; from complete application development to independent verification (both low-level and system-level). We provide support for our customers through PMAs to 510K submissions. 

Logikos works closely with our customers’ medical device hardware: 

• Embedded Software – Simulation, modeling and automatic code generation. Independent system testing, unit testing, and verification of device software have saved customers from recalls by the FDA. 
• Device Management Software – Program device parameters, diagnostics, communications, data collection, aggregation, and analysis. We have significant experience with Microsoft .NET and all versions of Windows. 

Logikos has expertise in software simulation and Model-Based Design to help identify issues early in the lifecycle and prevent field product recalls. Automatically generating code from the models further reduces human errors. Certification and reuse of software “blocks” lower costs, reduce schedules, and provide traceability of processes to requirements. 

For over 30 years Logikos has designed, developed, tested, and verified embedded software for medical devices, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, and military applications. Today one of the company's primary focus areas is medical device software.
