xPC Target System Integrators specialize in open-architecture systems that enable you to rapidly prototype control systems with xPC Target software. These systems leverage control system models built in Simulink and Stateflow that are then translated into C code using Real-Time Workshop and executed in real time via the xPC Target software kernel.
xPC Target software also applies to open architecture hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems that enable test and integration of embedded control systems versus realistic emulation of hardware. HIL testing is most applicable when plant hardware is expensive or unavailable for testing. xPC Target solution providers can help you specify, build, and install these complex HIL systems.
