Supported Hardware - VXI Technology
The table below lists the hardware supported by the latest release of the Data Acquisition Toolbox. If you have an earlier version of the toolbox, refer to the Minimum Version Required column in the table to see if a device is supported by the version of the toolbox you own. You may need to update to the latest version of the toolbox to use a particular device.
If you do not see your specific hardware device listed below, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. For specific information about a board listed here, please visit the VXI Technology Web site.
Note: This VXI Technology adaptor ('hpe1432') will not be provided in future releases of Data Acquisition Toolbox. Instead, it will be available as a separate download. This warning has no immediate impact but is intended to advise you for future planning. Once this adaptor is available on MATLAB Central, The MathWorks will not be making updates to the adaptor.See Solution 1-37TX43 for details.
Many VXI Technology products today use instrument standard protocols and can be used with Instrument Control Toolbox. Instrument Control Toolbox enables you to communicate directly with the instrument using one or more instrument communication protocols, including GPIB, VISA, TCP/IP, UDP, and serial. You can also communicate with the instrument if it supports an instrument standard such as IVI , LXI, or VXIplug&play.
