mpiexec

Integration with Parallel Computing Toolbox and MATLAB Distributed Computing Server

If your cluster is already set up to use mpiexec and SMPD, and if you are using a compatible MPI implementation library, you can use Parallel Computing Toolbox with your existing configuration. Alternatively, you can use the mpiexec software shipped with MATLAB Distributed Computing Server.

The mpiexec scheduler is intended as a launcher for parallel jobs and supports only parallel jobs. It does not support distributed jobs.
