Project Generation and Library Creation Using Real-Time Workshop
With Embedded IDE Link, you can create complete projects from Simulink models in supported IDEs using the application C code generated from Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder along with other files specific to the embedded framework, such as a memory map file, a heap table, and board/chip support libraries. You can quickly create embedded software implementations from your MATLAB and Simulink models using Real-Time Workshop or Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder for prototyping your designs on various supported processors.
The project generator component enables you to:
- Generate IDE projects complete with algorithmic code as well as embedded framework code that can be compiled and executed on supported processors
- Create custom memory maps for code generated from Simulink models
- Configure cache options from your Simulink models and use the stack profiler to optimize stack usage
