IDE Adaptor for Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio
Embedded IDE Link supports the Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment (IDE) from Texas Instruments. When you use the automation interface capability for verification tasks from MATLAB, all Texas Instruments™ processors that are supported by Code Composer Studio are also supported by Embedded IDE Link. A subset of these processors, listed below, is also supported by the Embedded IDE Link project generation capability, which uses Real-Time Workshop and Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder to generate complete Code Composer Studio projects from Simulink models. They generate the application C source code and include assembler code and linker description files as appropriate. With Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder, you can then generate and perform PIL tests on supported DSPs from the C2000™, C55x™, and C6000™ families.
For other processors specifically not supported with project generation, code generation for the application from MATLAB and Simulink is still supported independently through Real-Time Workshop, but the peripheral software integration and project creation tasks must be done manually.
