Using NI-SCOPE and NI-FGEN Devices with MATLAB
National Instruments
National Instruments manufactures modular instruments such as function generators, arbitrary waveform generators, and oscilloscopes. You can use MATLAB together with Instrument Control Toolbox as your single software environment to configure, control, acquire, and analyze data from these instruments. The toolbox supports devices that use IVI-compliant NI-FGEN 2.7.2 or NI-SCOPE 3.4 driver software.
Once data is in MATLAB, you can analyze and visualize that data for tasks such as signal processing, statistical analysis, digital filtering, and curve fitting. You can also create graphical interfaces for collecting and analyzing your data and automating tests.
Consult the table for the list of NI-SCOPE and NI-FGEN hardware supported by the latest release of Instrument Control Toolbox. If you have a prior release of the toolbox, refer to the minimum release column to check that your device is supported. You may need to update to the latest version of the toolbox to use a particular device.
If you do not find your device in this table, check the Data Acquisition Toolbox supported hardware page.
