Working with Embedded IDE Link MU
With Embedded IDE Link MU, your software projects transition smoothly from modeling and specification to embedded deployment and verification.
The link provides Simulink blocks that let you specify build information for microprocessor devices supported by MULTI®. Real-Time Workshop® Embedded Coder software then uses the build information during code generation to build code in the MULTI environment or to deploy the code directly onto an embedded microprocessor.
The PIL block created during code generation provides a bidirectional cosimulation interface between Simulink® and the MULTI Debugger. By adding the PIL block to a Simulink test model, you can quickly run open- or closed-loop tests, either with or without plant and environment models.
