New Simulink Blockset Library

The OPC Toolbox includes blocks that:

• Let your Simulink model read and write data to and from an OPC server
• Configure the client to use in the model, define the event and error behavior, and set the real-time behavior

Quality Data Properties

The OPC Toolbox uses specific quality values defined by the OPC Foundation, based on a major quality value, a substatus for that major quality value, and a limit status indicating how the value is limited. You can now work with numerical quality data, and with parts of that quality data, for decision control and other computing tasks in MATLAB and Simulink.

Known Problems and Corrections

Version 1.1 corrects the following software problems:

• OPC Toolbox 1.0 ignored the DeadbandPercent property of a dagroup object.
• The opcregister function caused an error when installing the OPC Foundation Core Components.
