Simulink® Response Optimization™ lets you optimize the behavior of systems modeled in the Simulink® environment by tuning the design parameters through numerical optimization. You can optimize the closed-loop performance of control systems, from PID controllers to multi-loop architectures. You can easily factor in design requirements expressed in terms of rise time, settling time, overshoot, and saturation limits. Simulink Response Optimization software lets you tune the coefficients of signal processing and communication algorithms, and achieve behavioral characteristics such as peak power consumption, range of mechanical motion, or data packet loss.
