Simulink Response Optimization is an upgrade of the Nonlinear Control Design Blockset that improves its usability and expands its ability to optimize Simulink model parameters. New features include:

• New optimization algorithms from the Optimization Toolbox and Genetic Algorithm and Direct Search Toolbox for improved solution convergence
• Full support for continuous, discrete, and hybrid models
• Ability to tune scalar, vector, and matrix parameters
• Ability to constrain any signal in the Simulink model hierarchy
• Improved graphical user interface to set up and manage optimization problems
• Support for tracking user-defined reference signals
• Expanded demonstration library, including examples for electromechanical, aerospace, control system, chemical process, and DSP applications
