Symbolic Math Toolbox 3.2.3
Product Description
Using Symbolic Math Toolbox
Symbolic Computing
The Symbolic Math Toolbox is comprised of the most commonly used symbolic algebraic and calculus operations from Maple™ 10. The toolbox is fully integrated into the MATLAB environment and language so that results of symbolic computations can be evaluated, visualized, or incorporated into MATLAB programs.
Variable Precision Arithmetic
The Symbolic Math Toolbox performs variable precision arithmetic for computations that require exact control over numeric accuracy. Numeric operations can be evaluated to any number of digits, limited only by computer memory.
Maple 10 Kernel Access
The Symbolic Math Toolbox provides access to the full Maple 10 core library, and the Maple linear algebra and integral transforms packages. The core library includes:
- Functions of classical applied mathematics
The linear algebra package includes:
- Functions for operations on matrices with symbolic elements
- Routines for the rigorous computation of matrix functions that cannot be reliably computed with floating-point arithmetic
The integral transforms package includes:
- Functions for the analytic Fourier, Laplace, and z-transforms, and their inverses
