Working with Target Support Package™ TC6

Target Support Package TC6 is part of a complete design flow for prototyping and implementing a wide variety of embedded signal processing applications, such as video applications on the C64x and C64x+ families, high-performance audio applications on the C62x and C67x families, and advanced wireless base-station systems on next-generation multicore TI DSPs.

Using Target Support Package TC6 with Simulink, Real-Time Workshop, Embedded IDE Link CC, and TI development tools, you can develop, implement, and validate signal processing system designs and algorithms from concept through code. You can generate a C- language, real-time implementation of your Simulink model and automatically invoke Code Composer Studio to create and download an executable on a supported DSP board for real-time algorithm evaluation. Target Support Package TC6 employs Embedded IDE Link CC to enable interactive debugging and systematic testing of DSP programs, including legacy code.

C6000™ DSP Core Support, DSP/BIOS Support, and C6000 DSP Communication libraries. These libraries help you design and implement UDP or Ethernet communication, and schedule code segments to be executed by interrupt service routines in response to hardware interrupts or as tasks enabled by external triggers.
