Using the Host Communication and DSP/BIOS Libraries with External Mode
You can design and implement system designs that involve Ethernet communications—from host-to-target, target-to-host, or target-to-network—using send and receive blocks in the Host Communication library. You can assemble and disassemble Ethernet data packets, and perform byte manipulation. You can design and implement advanced embedded systems that use the DSP/BIOS operating system on a C6000 DSP using blocks in the DSP/BIOS library. The Hardware Interrupt block lets you create an interrupt service routine that executes a subsystem or a task that you define using the Task block.
Using the external mode feature of Target Support Package TC6, you can also monitor and tune an algorithm in real time running on your Texas Instruments DSP platform.
