Automating Verification and Debugging of Code
Embedded IDE Link VS provides methods for automatically controlling, testing, and debugging VisualDSP++ applications using MATLAB commands. It enables you to perform memory exchange for programming and debugging control. For example, you can transfer data from memory locations in VisualDSP++ to the MATLAB workspace to:
- Create plots
- Calculate statistics
- Fit curves to data
- Perform signal processing and other post-processing operations that analyze and visualize your data
You can transfer data into VisualDSP++ and run your algorithm with this test data on the processor. You can also use it for bidirectional, interactive data analysis from the MATLAB command window.
Embedded IDE Link VS utilizes the high-performance in-process communication and data transfer technology in VisualDSP++. As a result, you can quickly read and write large data sets from and to the target processor, and verify embedded code.
