How can I build my own Simulink® blocks in C?

A tutorial for communication system designers

Register for a free webinar:

This webinar, to be broadcast live on September 1, 2005, shows users how to create Simulink® blocks using C and how to include existing C-code in Simulink models. We will use examples from the communications industry, but participants from other industries will also benefit from attending.

Through product demonstrations, attendees will see how to:

  • Create S-functions in C using the S-Function Builder
  • How to include existing legacy C-code through the S-Function Builder
  • Debug these C S-functions using a standard C debugging environment

Many users in the communications industry want to use Simulink to develop new intellectual property in their own S-function blocks. One way to do this is to use MATLAB M-files. However, many users want to write S-functions using C-code, which can be a little tricky. This tutorial simplifies the process by demonstrating some of the powerful features available within the product.

Pre-registration is required.
