Model-Based Design

MathWorks tools provide a natural environment for Model-Based Design. Simulink, Stateflow, and other high-level design tools help engineers rapidly develop mathematical models of real-world control and communication systems.

The MathWorks Consultants can support you in all phases of Model-Based Design, including:

Integrating Legacy Code

Several industries, especially the aerospace and automotive sectors, were early adopters of simulation technologies. The advantages of these technologies were readily apparent, but there were problems in the transition phase. Much of the initial development work was hard to maintain in the new design environment because it had been done in Fortran, Ada, and C.
