Training Policies
Waiting Lists for Full Classes
If the class you are interested in is full, please call us at 508-647-7000 and select option 3. We will add your name to the class waiting list and contact you if additional seats become available.
Academic Discounts
If you are an academic researcher or faculty member at an accredited university, you are entitled to our academic discount of 50% off the price of all public courses. Enrollment is limited for each class, so we encourage you to register early.
Enrollment Methods
There are two ways to enroll in MathWorks™ training courses:- Online: Choose the course you are interested in and select "Register"
- Phone: Call 508-647-7000 and select option 3
Please note: Your enrollment will be confirmed once payment is received.
Payment Methods
You can use a credit card to place your order via the Web (in North America) or by phone. You can also place your order by phone and then send payment via check or purchase order. We cannot confirm your registration until we receive your check or PO.

For security purposes, please do not send any credit card numbers, purchase order numbers, or any associated information through e-mail. The MathWorks will contact you by e-mail to confirm your payment information.
Cancellation/Return Policies
Public training and e-learning tuition is fully refundable if we receive written notification (via mail or e-mail) of cancellation on or before seven business days prior to the class. If you cancel less than seven business days prior to class we will refund only 75% of the course tuition fee. If you fail to show up to class without providing prior written notice of cancellation, you will be charged the full tuition. You may send a substitute in your place to avoid a fee.
If a training course cannot take place as scheduled due to circumstances beyond The MathWorks control, we will issue a full refund for the amount that you have already paid.
