System Requirements - E-Learning

• Pentium III, IV, Xeon, Pentium M, AMD Athlon, Athlon XP, or Athlon MP processor
• Windows XP, 2000 (with Service Pack 3 or 4), or NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 5 or 6a)
• 512 MB RAM
• Netscape Navigator (4.0 or above) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (4.0 or above) with JavaScript and cookies enabled
• 56KB/s or faster Internet connection
• MathWorks product software installed prior to course

System Requirements - Training at Your Facility

Because our courses make extensive use of hands-on examples, PCs or workstations are required. Two students can share a computer for any of our courses. The operating system should be consistent throughout the facility, and be supported by the latest version of MATLAB. Before the first day of class, please install the demo software provided to you for the course. Each computer should have a CD-ROM or be networked for installation. An electrical outlet should be available to the instructor.

If you have questions or concerns about these requirements, please note them when requesting training. The MathWorks will work with you to accommodate your needs without affecting the quality of the course.

General Requirements

• PCs or workstations (two students can share a computer)
• Consistent operating system that supports the latest version of MATLAB
• Demo software installed prior to course
• CD-ROM or network access for installation
• Electrical outlet
• A computer projector with resolution of 1024 x 768 and lumens of 2000 or greater is recommended. If a projector is not available, The MathWorks can supply one at no additional cost.
