Written for engineers, this book presents the techniques to develop and detect low probability of intercept radar. The book is divided into two parts. The first part introduces the fundamental principles of LPI radar development, including a thorough discussion of wideband modulations. The second part of the book presents the signal processing techniques for LPI waveform detection and characterization for counter-LPI. The revised second edition contains additional information on random noise radar techniques and technologies, over-the-horizon radar systems, new antiradiation missile designs, and autonomous classification signal processing techniques.
