Written in German for students, professors, scientists, and industrial designers, this
book discusses the use of MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and other products to simulate, analyze, and synthesize dynamic systems.
The book begins with an introduction to MATLAB. Simulink is then introduced and used to simulate dynamic systems throughout
the text. The discussion of the Control System Toolbox includes both classical control functions and the modern state-space
approach. Nonlinear Simulink models are optimized using the Nonlinear Control Design Blockset. In addition, Stateflow and
the Fuzzy Logic and System Identification Toolboxes are introduced and used to solve examples.
Companion Software: A set of MATLAB M-files and Simulink models are available on CD
bound in the book.
