Each lecture is built around one or two central topics, emphasizing the unity between ideas. One unusual aspect of this book is that it begins with QR factorization rather than Gaussian elimination, to provide a more solid and easier-to-understand foundation for the subsequent lectures. The last part of the book is devoted to iterative methods.
